The Scandinavian Journal of Trauma, Resuscitation, and Emergency Medicine was successfully launched in 1994 as Akuttjournalen. The Journal is now published as an open access online journal in cooperation with BioMed Central, and Scandinavia has got it's first PubMed idexed scientific journal on trauma, resuscitation and emergency medicine.
